As a Solution Business Architect you work on a strategic level and on the long term vision of the company. You help to clarify the business needs, based on strategic frameworks and make the translation to concrete projects. By working out a Business Architecture you make Business solutions work optimally. You help realize change in organisation, processes and IT and are responsible for the design of the services, processes and information flows. Your mission takes place in Halle or Malines.
- You act as the first point of contact for business stakeholders where you, using your strong communication skills, make the translation from business needs to business strategy and ultimately to the concrete Business Architecture.
- You form the bridge with the IT teams that build the solution.
- You collaborate with different functions in a project team, as well as coordinating with other business and IT architects.
- You initiate projects and transfer project sheets to the Project Manager and project team.
- You further development of the business architecture content through in-depth business analyzes with a project / milestone-driven focus, so that the impact of the chosen strategy becomes clear and business can make the right choices.
- You involve the business stakeholders in the business analyzes and validation of the chosen solutions.
- You align the business architecture content with the IT Solution Architecture, and communicate this to the project team in conjunction with the IT Solution Architect, so that the project team can realize the desired business solution with focus.
- You monitor the business architecture during the project / program implementation.
- You supervise and share knowledge with others who take on a business analysis, process analysis or functional analysis role within projects
- You have min 5 years’ experience as a Business Architect.
- You have experience with engineering and software architecture design
- You have experience with TOGAF
- You have great project and product management skills
- You have good people skills. You need to be able to explain complex problems and find ways to say the same thing using different words for different types of audiences.
- You have a balanced mix of technical and business skills
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (Good knowledge of French is an asset)
